Do you have experience supporting people? Do you have knowledge of supported employment? If yes, then please keep reading. We are currently looking for Relief Job Coaches to join our Employ Me programme, supporting people with learning disabilities to move closer to paid work.

As a Job Coach, you will work with participants to achieve this goal. We are seeking flexible Relief Job Coaches to work across three Amazon fulfilment centres, starting with the one in Dunstable/Luton. You will support trainees in developing skills and knowledge required by the employer. Trainees aim for permanent paid work of 40 hours per week, with shifts of 10 hours over 4 days, including early starts and late evenings.

Responsibilities include:

• Working in partnership with external employers
• Developing employment opportunities
• Collaborating with the wider Employ Me team
• Supporting and training participants to gain practical and competitive skills
• Working with managers and mentors to support progression and resolve challenges
• Providing travel training where needed

Key skills (essential):

• Experience supporting people
• Knowledge of supported employment
• Effective record keeping and reporting
• Adaptability to various environments
• Professional conduct and attendance
• Interest in learning about learning disabilities and autism
