The Post:

The immunisation practitioners provide flexible support in the assessment, implementation, and delivery of a high-quality vaccination service to the residents of Orkney, in line with Public Health guidance. The post holders will undertake immunisations to ensure the national immunisation programme is provided and that vulnerable groups are fully immunized.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate must be a Registered healthcare professional from groups outlined in Section 12 in job description with current active registration.

Additionally, post holders should have good communication skills and team working skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.

Location, Working Pattern and Contract Duration:

This post will be based at The Balfour

This post is on a Relief Basis

It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NHS Orkney.

The salary for this post is on a Band 5 £31,892 - £39,735 pro rata per annum and if residing on Orkney, you’ll also receive a Distant Islands Allowance of £1,587 pro rata per year, adding extra value to your rewarding career with us.
