Relief Fitness Instructor

Penkridge Leisure Centre

Up to £14.59 per hour

We are seeking enthusiastic and self-disciplined individuals, required to undertake a variety of tasks, including gym inductions, programmes, health checks, general cleaning duties and dealing with customer enquiries at Penkridge Leisure Centre.

Responsibilities

• Successful candidates will ensure the highest standards of gym inductions, ensuring the safe usage of all equipment, writing fitness programmes for members, providing friendly, supportive instruction to gym users and maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the gym and its equipment.
• Deal with customer enquiries and contribute to a clean and well-maintained gym environment.

Qualifications

• Applicants will be required, as a minimum, to possess a recognised qualification YMCA/Premier Global/CYQ Level 2 or equivalent to undertake the instructional duties required by the post.
• This post has been identified as one requiring checks for possible criminal background. An enhanced disclosure check will be made through the Disclosure and Barring Service and this, or any other, offer of appointment is subject to a satisfactory clearance.
