Role Responsibilities

As an Assistant Educator, you will create and maintain fun, safe, engaging, and welcoming learning environments. You will build strong relationships with families, children, and team members, record children's progress, routines, and interests, and ensure compliance with policies and practices.

Location

Sparrow Early Learning Alamanda is situated in the beautiful Alamanda Estate, Point Cook. We provide a play-based learning environment that encourages children to express ideas, use imagination, and experiment in a safe, supportive setting.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care
• Availability Monday to Friday
• Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, and Play-based Child-led pedagogy
• Current Working with Children Check
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience with Storypark (preferred)
• First Aid and CPR certificates, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
