Relief Duty Manager at McCarthy Stone

McCarthy Stone is seeking a professional Relief Duty Manager to join their team at the prestigious Barnhill Court development in Chipping Sodbury.

This role offers a unique approach to care, providing better support for residents.

Salary and Hours

Base Salary: £13.56 per hour (day rate) and £11.44 per hour (sleeping night rate), plus additional pay (see below).

Hours: To be confirmed with the Manager. Day shifts vary between 08:45 and 16:30 or 16:15 to 09:30. Night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00. Relief Duty Managers sleep between 23:00 and 07:00, providing emergency support to homeowners during that period.

About the Role

Support the management and smooth running of a vibrant community of active, independent older adults. Ensure residents live their best lives in elegant private apartments within a beautiful setting, with peace of mind knowing help is always available.

About You

You are warm, friendly, organized, and self-motivated, with experience in care or support environments and excellent care skills. A QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Adults) is preferred, but relevant experience and alternative qualifications will be considered.

You will be responsible for managing the security, safety, and wellbeing of residents, overseeing care and support teams, and facilitating community activities.

You are eager to develop your skills, lead by example, and make a positive impact on the wellbeing of older people.
