Job summary

NHS Orkney is offering a relief cleaning role based at Stronsay GP Practice, with variety across Stronsay and Westray surgeries. The post involves keeping facilities clean and safe to NHS standards and supporting infection control practices.

You will join a team of staff delivering cleaning and domestic services, with comprehensive training provided even if you have healthcare experience. A local residency within the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning experience
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding patient information

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe working environment in line with NHS National Cleaning Specification
• Provide cleaning and domestic services for Stronsay Surgery and Westray Surgery
• Follow training and COSHH and Infection Control guidelines when required
