An established industry player is seeking a Relief Cook to provide meals on an as-needed basis across various schools in Orkney. This role involves preparing, cooking, and serving food, while also supervising staff and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. The ideal candidate will hold relevant food hygiene and preparation qualifications and be able to travel efficiently between locations. Relief Cook - Mainland Orkney and Outer Isles Schools
Hours are offered on an as and when required basis
£14.94 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance)
Applications are invited from enthusiastic individuals who can help to provide the meals service on a relief basis to cover for holiday and sickness absence.

Minimum Requirements:
You must hold an Intermediate Food Hygiene Qualification or equivalent and a food preparation qualification - NVQ level 2, C+G 706/1 + 706/2.
You should be able to travel efficiently and effectively between work locations within Orkney to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
