North Yorkshire Councils in Bedale, North Yorkshire, is seeking a dedicated relief Cook to join our Adult Social Care Residential Team at Benkhill Lodge. You will be responsible for day-to-day kitchen operations, preparing nutritious meals and maintaining high hygiene standards to support residents’ health and wellbeing.

Formación

• Level 2 Food Safety/Food Preparation qualification (or willing to work towards).
• Experience cooking varied menus for large numbers of people.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safe preparation practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Experience ordering stock and working within budgets.
• Good organisational and record-keeping skills.

• Preparing and cooking a variety of meals for residents.
• Planning menus and providing special dietary meals where required.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
