Job summary

Job description

YMCA Bournemouth Child Contact Centre is a NACCC accredited service supporting children and families to build positive relationships even when they do not live together. We offer a safe and neutral environment where the child is the most important person.

We are looking to recruit a weekend practitioner who will observe supervised and supported family time. You will demonstrate:

  • an ability to work closely and non-judgementally with other people, showing an understanding of boundaries and a commitment to equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory working
  • excellent communication skills with all ages and ability to provide clear, written information
  • the ability to deal sensitively with people under stress
  • good IT skills

An NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is required.

Salary (relief role) £12.21 per hour.

Hours available 7 days a week between 08.30 and 18.30, most hours available are weekends. Weekly rotas agreed in advance.
