Job summary

Olive Dining Ltd in Lewisham is seeking a committed Executive Chef/Relief Chef Manager to lead kitchen operations across schools, cover holidays and sickness, and collaborate with the development team under the head of development.

You'll work in a large team, prefer friendly, family-like hours, and bring a food safety certificate and strong kitchen experience to ensure safe, tasty meals for students while delivering a supportive, high-energy catering service.

Qualifications

• Experience in the kitchen is a must.
• A food safety certificate or equivalent is required.
• Be a good team player who stays calm under pressure and thrives in a busy environment.
• Understanding of food hygiene and safety; Level 2 certificate is a bonus.
• Flexibility and adaptability for school schedules.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Must have access to own transport.

Responsibilities

• Relief Chef Manager to support both primary and secondary schools.
• Relief Chef Manager to cover holidays and sickness.
• Relief Chef Manager to work with the development team and report to the head of development.
