Job Description

We are hiring a Relief Chef/Catering Manager to provide cover in Basingstoke and surrounding areas to support our existing site-based teams. This role is term-time only and does not include weekends, making it ideal for those seeking flexibility.

This is a mobile-based role, so you will need your own transport.

The role:
  • Up to £25,000 per annum
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Term-time only - working 38 weeks per year
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting food to Caterlink and client standards
  • Ensuring that our locations meet statutory and company requirements regarding Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislation and procedures
  • Enhancing the company's reputation for excellent food and service with clients and customers, exceeding expectations
  • Supporting the daily operations of the location and supervising teams, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
