Job summary

Chefs for Chefs is seeking experienced Relief Chefs to join our flexible UK-wide network. You’ll step into diverse kitchens, deliver high-quality dishes, and support service, prep and hygiene across various venues.

We value reliability, adaptability and teamwork, offering competitive hourly pay with holiday pay, flexible hours, and ongoing professional development. Roles include Kitchen Porter, Chef de Partie, Sous Chef and Head Chef in both London and elsewhere.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Food Hygiene and Allergen Awareness certificates (minimum).
• Reliable, adaptable, and professional approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A DBS check is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes to established standards.
• Supporting kitchen teams with service, prep, and cleaning tasks.
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene, safety, and organisation at all times.
• Adapting quickly to new environments and contributing positively to the team.
• Collaborating with business owners and chefs to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
