Job summary

Ginger Hospitality is seeking Relief Chefs at all levels to support luxury venues across Derbyshire, including AA Rosette, Michelin Star and fine dining environments. Roles range from Chef de Partie to Head Chef with flexible, quality-led assignments that suit your schedule.

Expect exposure to refined kitchens, fresh produce and high standards, with options for weekly PAYE payments or invoice direct roles. Some assignments include accommodation and remote sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Experience at Chef de Partie, Sous Chef or Head Chef level.
• Background in AA Rosette, Michelin Star, fine dining or high quality fresh food kitchens.
• Confident across sections with strong all-round kitchen skills.
• Passionate about fresh produce, refined cooking and consistent standards.
• Able to work independently and as part of a brigade during busy service.
• Comfortable adapting to different kitchen setups, menus and service styles.
• Strong attention to detail across preparation, flavour, presentation and organisation.
• Reliable, flexible and able to support short-term and ongoing assignments.
• Committed to maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present high quality dishes using fresh ingredients.
• Support kitchens across luxury hotels, estates, restaurants and prestigious venues.
• Work confidently across different sections depending on venue needs.
• Maintain the standards expected within AA Rosette, Michelin Star, fine dining kitchens.
• Assist with busy services, events and ongoing kitchen cover.
• Support the brigade in maintaining smooth kitchen operations.
• Uphold food hygiene, health and allergen standards.
• Assist with mise en place, stock rotation and ingredient management.
• Maintain consistency, quality and presentation across every service.
• Bring professionalism and adaptability to every assignment.
