Job summary

A hiring opportunity for Relief Chefs in Nottingham and surrounding areas, working in hotels, restaurants, pubs, and care homes. Ideal candidates will have at least Sous Chef experience, be flexible, and able to work at short notice in fast-paced environments. This role provides consistent yearly work.

Qualifications

  • Must have worked to at least Sous Chef level.
  • Capable of jumping on any section in the kitchen.
  • Used to working with fresh produce.

Responsibilities

  • Work in various properties including hotels and care homes.
  • Fill in roles from Chef de Partie to Head Chef level.
  • Ensure compliance with DBS requirements for care home contracts.

Hotels, Restaurants, Pubs and Care Homes in Nottingham and the surrounding areas are seeking Relief Chefs.

Flexible chefs who are able to work in a variety of properties sometimes at short notice. You may be working from Chef de Partie to Head Chef level, depending on your skills and the requirement of the property you will be working at.

We also have a number of care home contracts in this region which require Relief Chefs who have DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks in order to work in their kitchens. There is plenty of year round work available with these.

Requirements:

Chefs who have worked to at least Sous Chef level with excellent all round cooking skills capable of jumping on any section and used to working in fast paced kitchens with all fresh produce.

It is not essential to have your own transport but it is advantageous.
