Salary: £24,223.16 (pro-rata for part time), £12.59 per hour

As a Catering Assistant, you will support the Unit Supervisor within the Catering Team at various locations to deliver healthy, fresh, and nutritious meals.

Moray Council Catering Services operate across 52 schools in both primary and secondary education, as well as providing meals for Early Years Settings throughout the area. Join our team of 300 staff preparing and serving meals daily in schools and nurseries, making us the largest catering operation in Moray.

This position is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check before a formal offer of employment is made by Moray Council.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary, which increases annually until it reaches the top of the range.
