Job summary

Derbyshire County Council is seeking care workers for community-based roles at the Extra Care Housing, Thomas Fields in Buxton. You will help residents stay independent and well in their own homes, including support with medication and daily tasks.

Full training and support are provided. The role offers a three-shift pattern, a competitive pay rate with pro-rata holiday entitlement, free uniform, high-quality training, and extra pay for unsocial hours.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with medication and other everyday tasks to help residents stay healthy and independent in their own homes.
• Providing support to residents as part of the care team.

We are looking for people to join our valued care teams helping Derbyshire residents lead independent, dignified lives for the people living in the new Extra Care Housing, Thomas Fields in Buxton.

As a care worker (community) you’ll be ensuring people stay healthy, happy and well in their own homes by helping them with a variety of everyday tasks including assisting with medication.

You do not need previous experience as we will give you all the training and support you need to do the job.
