Job summary

McCarthy & Stone Ltd is recruiting a Relief Care Supervisor for Barnhill Court in Chipping Sodbury, Bristol. The role involves supporting the management and smooth running of a community of active, independent older residents, with on-site supervision and care duties.

Hourly rates are £15.24 for day shifts and £12.24 for sleeping night shifts, with an additional £1 per hour for every hour worked from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday. Applications welcome from UK-based candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care or support environment.
• Organised, friendly and self-motivated with good care skills.
• Willing to pursue formal qualification in Health & Social Care if eligible.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security and safety of the homeowners and manage the on-site team.
• Support and lead the Care and Support teams to ensure high-quality service.
• Coordinate activities to strengthen community spirit within the development.
• Provide emergency support to residents during night shifts as required.
