About Us

Connected Health is seeking local individuals to join our team as Relief Care Assistants. Our mission is to enable clients to maintain independence at home, providing vital care and companionship. Your role may be the only contact our clients have each day, and your smile and care can make a significant difference.

About the Role

We are looking for Relief Care Assistants who will work exclusively on weekends and bank holidays. The role involves working across the Southern Trust or Northern Trust areas, with flexibility to cover shifts as needed.

Shift Details

• Need to be available for 3-4 shifts per weekend
• Morning, lunch, and tea shifts: 6.45am to 5.30pm
• Teas and Beds shifts: 3.30pm to 11pm

Pay Rate

Enhanced rate of £15 per hour on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Undertake personal care and daily living tasks as agreed with the service user, their family, and professionals involved in the individual service plan
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with service users and colleagues from diverse backgrounds
• Communicate regularly with your supervisor regarding any changes in the service user's condition or circumstances
• Complete documentation, including service user records and timesheets
• Follow all Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
• Participate in supervision, staff meetings, and training activities as required
• Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be a driver with access to a car
• Availability to work 3-4 shifts per weekend and bank holidays as per business needs
• Willingness to travel within the designated trust area
• At least 6 months of experience in a formal care setting
• NVQ Level 2 in Care or equivalent
• Registered with NISCC or willing to undertake registration if successful
