Job summary

Scottish Borders Council is seeking a Relief Relief Support Worker for St Ronan's Care Home in Innerleithen. • SVQ2 or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
• PVG Adults – we will do this for you! SSSC registered.
• Training: All training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred practical and emotional support to empower the people we care for, as outlined in individual support plans.
• Promote the health and well-being of the people we support and ensure their needs are met in an inclusive way.
• Support, enable and involve service users in all aspects of their lives, including personal care, eating, drinking, and mobility if necessary.
• Be responsible for the safe administration of Service Users’ medication, following relevant training.
