Job Description

Support the provision of care by attending to the needs and rights of older individuals within a caring environment.

This position covers all residential bungalows within the Willowbank site. Candidates must be flexible and have good availability. The current working pattern is from 7am-3pm and 3pm-10pm, including weekends and overnight sleep-ins.

The post holder is expected to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the service and the organization.

Requirements

This position involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If you have spent three or more months outside the UK in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. The successful applicant must provide this check. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these pre-employment checks.

A minimum of two references are required, one of which must be your current or most recent employer.

You will need to obtain SSSC registration within three months of employment.
