Job summary

Jewish Care's Sunridge Court in Golders Green is seeking a Relief Care Assistant to support residents with personal care, daily routines, meals and activities. Shifts are 12 hours, 8am–8pm, on a rotating two-week pattern, with some weekends.

No previous care experience is required as full training and ongoing support are provided to help you develop the skills needed to promote independence and dignity for residents.

Job description

The Relief Care Assistant post is at Sunridge Court in Golders Green, a residential care setting run by Jewish Care, and covers shifts on a relief basis. The work centres on personal care, daily routines, meals and activities, with companionship and support to help residents keep their independence and dignity. Shifts are 12-hour days from 8am to 8pm on a two-week rolling rota of four days then two, including some weekends. Previous care experience is not required, as full training and ongoing support are given.
