McCarthy Stone is looking for a professional Relief Care Assistant to join their team at their stunning development, Lyle Court in Edinburgh.

Lyle Court was built by McCarthy & Stone as a purpose-built retirement living plus development. The estate comprises 73 one and two-bedroom retirement apartments for the over 70s.

Salary and Hours

Base Salary: £11.96 per hour

Hours: Flexible

About the Role

As a Relief Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality individual care to residents, supporting them to live well in later life. Your duties will include housekeeping, domestic support, supporting residents' activities, assisting with appointments, arranging transport, escorting visits, and shopping assistance. Every day will be diverse, offering opportunities to use your people skills to make a real difference.

About You

You will be a warm, friendly individual with some experience in care or support work. You will have a passion for enhancing the wellbeing and happiness of older people and enjoy working as part of a team. You should be driven to deliver excellent customer service. Ideally, you will hold a QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Adults), but relevant experience and alternative qualifications will also be considered.
