McCarthy Stone is looking for a professional Care and Support Assistant, with some domestic duties, to join their team at Townsend Court in Rushden, Northamptonshire, for casual hours.

No previous care experience required; just a willingness to support residents, get involved, and learn on the role.

Base Salary: £11.58 per hour, up to £12.88 depending on shifts

Hours: Relief contract with hours to be agreed; day, evening, and weekend shifts available throughout the year

As a Relief Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality individual care, supporting residents' wellbeing. Responsibilities include domestic support, encouraging participation in activities, assisting with appointments, transport, shopping, and escorting residents. Every day will be diverse, allowing you to use your people skills to make a difference.

About you:

• Reside within easy commute of the estate.
• Warm, friendly, with some experience in care/support environment preferred.
• Passionate about enhancing older people's wellbeing and happiness.
• Customer service-oriented.
• Interested in health and social care sector; QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care preferred, but relevant experience and alternative qualifications considered.
