Job summary

Educators is seeking a Relief Breakfast General Kitchen Assistant for Cwmfelin Primary School in Wales. The role involves helping prepare, present and serve school meals to pupils and staff, while ensuring a safe and clean dining environment.

You may lay tables, chairs, and operate a touch screen terminal where needed; training is provided. Hours are between 10:00 and 14:30, Monday to Friday, term-time only, with cover at various schools across the County Borough.

Qualifications

• Level Two Food Hygiene Certificate is required or training will be provided to obtain it.
• DBS check (Children's Barred list) is a requirement for the post.
• Term-time role with hours 10:00–14:30, Monday to Friday.

Relief Breakfast General Kitchen Assistant - Cwmfelin Primary School

Salary: £13.48 per hour

Providing primary, secondary and special school meals to 56 schools across the county borough, Catering Services have a variety of opportunities for you to work as a General Kitchen Assistant across their service and would like to hear from you.

The role includes assisting in the preparation, presentation and service of school meals, whilst providing a safe, clean environment to pupils and staff. You will be required to lay out dining tables and chairs and, in some schools, operate a touch screen terminal - training will be provided upon start.

Cover at schools across the County Borough is a requirement of the role as well as having a Level Two Food Hygiene Certificate; training will be provided if necessary to help you obtain this.

Working hours will be confirmed upon appointment but will be between the hours of 10.00am and 2.30pm, to support the mid - morning break and lunchtime periods, Monday to Friday, term time only.

An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
