Overview

Could you be a Sense Relief (Bank) Support Worker? We have an opportunity for a Relief Support Worker to join our Day Service in Wakefield. This is a casual Relief Support Worker role, with various hours available. Sense offers 24 hours support to individuals, 365 days a year, with a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays. As a Relief Support Worker you will be able to choose your own shifts.

In Dereham we have a variety of different services including residential, supported living and day service. As a Relief Support Worker you will have a choice of where and when you want to work, and will have the opportunity to gain a lot of experience by supporting individuals in a variety of different settings where no two days are the same.

Responsibilities
  • Support individuals in a variety of settings across different services where no two days are the same.
  • Assist with everyday tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
  • Provide personal care and hygiene support as needed.
  • Support with finances, medication and wellbeing as required.
  • Work in the community for shopping or other trips and support social life and nightlife.
  • Empower individuals to live independently and participate in activities of their choice.
