Job description

Creative Support is a non‑profit organisation that provides high quality person‑centred social care services for people with learning disabilities, mental health and other needs.

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Relief Activity Support Worker to initiate, plan and provide enjoyable and stimulating group and one‑to‑one activities based on the identified needs, interests and preferences of older people living in our Extra Care Services in Brent and Harrow.

Responsibilities
  • Initiate, plan and deliver group and one‑to‑one activities that meet the identified needs, interests and preferences of older people in Extra Care Services.
  • Facilitate social inclusion and community links to promote physical and mental wellbeing, confidence and independence.
  • Write activity reports and create promotional materials such as posters and newsletters to showcase ongoing activities.
Qualifications
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to facilitate and work with people in groups.
  • Experience working with people with dementia, learning disability, mental health needs, autism, and physical disabilities (advantage).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and similar software.
Role Details
  • Flexible working in a zero‑hours contract, relief basis.
  • Willing to travel between services across Brent and Harrow.
