Overview of the role: Are you friendly and organised with a passion for providing excellent customer service but looking to further your skills and career? Here at Well, we aim to build the best prescription experience in the UK. Sounds ambitious, right? But that’s okay, because we’ve got a fantastic team of talented, creative and forward-thinking people, that are key in helping us get there.
Main Responsibilities: Your main responsibilities as an Accuracy Checking Technician will be to assist the Pharmacist in managing the day-to-day running of the dispensary by allocating work to Dispensing Technicians and Dispensing Assistants to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the dispensary, managing stock levels, and being another expert for our customers to talk to, providing healthcare advice and services at the counter. You’ll also assist with sales and general store duties including product displays and cash transactions. Every day can involve different tasks, from acting as the first point of contact for customers, managing high-volume dispensing transactions for local care homes, to dealing with operational queries from GP surgeries.
The Ideal Candidate: As a Relief Accuracy Checking Technician, you will be responsible for covering absence and holidays in surrounding Well Pharmacies. You will work within multiple teams across a number of community pharmacies, providing crucial support and ensuring we deliver the best patient and customer service. You should have an Accuracy Checking Qualification, NVQ/QCF Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Pharmacy Services, and GPhC registration. Well is proud to be a diverse and inclusive employer. If you have specific requirements, we will do our best to support you. Whether it’s finding an accessible pharmacy or seeking part-time work, we can help find the right role for you. If you need accommodations during our recruitment process, we are happy to provide them. Please note that due to the high volume of applications, it may not be possible to provide feedback to all applicants. If you are not contacted within 28 days, you have been unsuccessful.
Package Description: Highly competitive salaries, generous holiday allowance including bank holidays, opportunities to gain further qualifications, pension scheme, employee discount scheme, excellent development and career opportunities, and a bonus scheme.
