Job summary

UKCIL Ltd in Norwich is seeking a reliable Personal Assistant to support health, independence and day-to-day living. The role is part-time (13 hours/week) with flexible days and times, based in a calm home environment in Norwich NR2.

You will assist with household tasks, shopping, meal prep and community access, with mileage reimbursement and pro-rata leave. The successful applicant will be able to work independently, show initiative and maintain a quiet, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Reliable, friendly and practical Personal Assistant.
• Able to work independently with initiative.
• Comfortable in a calm home environment and low-noise setting.
• Physically able to carry shopping and undertake household tasks.
• Willing to follow routines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Weekly food shopping and storage of groceries.
• Household cleaning including vacuuming, mopping and dusting.
• Changing bed linen and assisting with laundry tasks.
• Taking rubbish and recycling out.
• Meal preparation and batch cooking.
• Collect prescriptions and post medical parcels.
• Support to access the community and outings as needed.
• Other practical tasks to maintain independence; flexibility required.
