Job summary

The Opportunity Hub UK Ltd is seeking reliable HGV Class 2 drivers for day or night shifts on behalf of a logistics client in the UK.

You will complete deliveries and collections safely and on time, perform daily vehicle checks and ensure loads are secure before travelling.

A valid HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and digital tachograph card are essential, together with a punctual, flexible approach and sound road-safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Good understanding of road safety and drivers’ hours.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries and collections safely and on time.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure loads are secure before travelling.
• Follow drivers’ hours, tachograph rules and site procedures.
• Provide a professional service to customers and site teams.
