Reliable, fun, and experienced Personal Assistant (PA) needed to support a vibrant 20-year-old man living in Eccles. This role involves personal care, community outings, and engaging sensory-friendly activities at home. The client is non-verbal with Autism, Pica, sensory processing difficulties and challenging behaviours. Vigilance and calm under pressure are essential.

Role

Two PAs to provide support; part-time and permanent contract; based in Eccles.

Responsibilities

• Supporting at home and in the community
• Assisting with personal care (client is incontinent)
• Preparing food and drink as needed
• Engaging in activities like baking, arts and crafts, and sensory play
• Taking client on day trips to places such as Alton Towers, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and nature walks
• Ensuring safety and providing emotional and physical support

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experienced: Minimum 2 years’ experience working with people with Autism and challenging behaviours
• Energetic and fun-loving: Must enjoy theme parks, rollercoasters, and busy days out
• Confident with personal care
• Driver with access to a vehicle (essential)
• Comfortable working in a home with a large, friendly dog
• DBS or willingness to obtain one
• Patient, resilient, and understanding
• Good sense of humour and creativity
• Reliable and consistent
• Comfortable working 1:1 and as part of a small team
