Job summary

Sodexo in Warminster is seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner for 20 hours per week across 5 days with varied shifts. You will maintain cleanliness in public and accommodation areas to high standards and participate in on-the-job training and funded apprenticeships.

Qualifications

• Have previous cleaning experience, preferably within a similar environment.
• Have a good understanding of cleaning procedures and standards.
• Be familiar with the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Have an understanding of COSHH and Health & Safety requirements.
• Be reliable, organised and able to work to set schedules and deadlines.
• Have good attention to detail and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Be willing to work as part of a team and assist with additional duties when required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, tidy and professional environment at all times.
• Clean and maintain public areas and accommodation areas to the required standard.
• Complete periodic bedroom and toilet cleaning as required.
• Service rooms following customer departure and complete room inventories.
• Report any damage, defects or maintenance issues promptly to the Manager.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with COSHH regulations.
• Report any defective cleaning equipment or materials required.
• Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist colleagues and the Housekeeper with other departmental duties when required.
• Maintain a professional approach when interacting with customers, colleagues and management.
