Reliability Technician

Job Description:

To support in the management of the Mechanical maintenance department to ensure:

  • Highest standards of H&S are continually followed
  • Legislative compliance is fulfilled
  • Best practice maintenance techniques are utilized to provide highest possible asset availability

Specific Tasks: (this list is not exhaustive)

  • Maintenance operations
    • Preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance tasks in responsibility area and other areas when needed
    • Preparation of preventative, corrective and shutdown works
    • Ensure that urgent work order will be raised and given to maintenance in case of Breakdown situation or urgent maintenance activities.
    • Shutdown work in own responsibility area or workshops as needed
    • Act as work group leader for external resources as needed
    • Communicate and collect information of production problems from production teams
  • Lubrication responsibilities
    • Implementation of lubrication and greasing practices at the mill
    • Review and development of lubrication and greasing activities at the mill
    • Define improvement potentials at mill lubrication and greasing practices
    • Lubrication and greasing according to preventative maintenance plan
    • Ensure high quality performance at responsible area
    • Responsible of good housekeeping at lubrication & hydraulic stations
