Ibstock PLC is seeking a Reliability Systems Development Manager to spearhead the design and consistent application of Reliability Systems across the organization. The successful candidate will lead cross-departmental initiatives aimed at enhancing asset performance, reducing downtime, and optimizing maintenance strategies, driving operational excellence and sustainability.

To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Reliability Systems Development Manager to come and join our team at Ibstock Plc.
Job Purpose: The Reliability Systems Development Manager is responsible for leading the design, development, and consistent application of Reliability Systems across the organisation. This role involves leading development and supporting implementation, and continuous improvement of maintenance and reliability systems that enhance asset performance, reduce downtime, and optimise maintenance strategies.
The Reliability System Development Manager is responsible for aligning maintenance technologies, data analytics, and reliability best practices with business objectives, ensuring system integration, standardisation, and long-term operational efficiency across the organisation to drive operational excellence, safety and cost-efficiency.
This role focusses on improving machine reliability through the implementation of productions systems part of Ibstock Safe Reliable Production System. The systems will ensure good communication at the different tiers in the factory streamline problem solving processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
As a natural leader, the role requires strong influence and the ability to win hearts and minds at the manufacturing facilities, ensuring ownership and sustainability of the system once hand over is complete. The role will work closely with various departments to maintain, audit, and improve systems, while developing key KPIs to track performance.
