A leading company in sustainable packaging is seeking a Maintenance Engineer who will manage equipment upkeep in a shift rotation setting. The Role
The role will operate on an eight-hour rotating 3 shift pattern, covering 6-2pm, 2-10pm & 10pm-6am with an element of holiday cover and overtime availability.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and have a right first-time approach to maintenance tasks, including using DMAIC problem solving techniques to identify the root cause of an issue.
You must be able to demonstrate a sound working knowledge of AC / DC motors and drives, read electrical / pneumatic schematic drawings and have a mechanical understanding of core elements.
Qualifications Skills and Experience
You will need to be a team player, but also someone who can carry out maintenance improvement project work alone when required. Experience within the corrugated / printing / packaging industry is preferred but not essential.
Ideally you should have a minimum of 5 years maintenance experience (which can include time spent as an apprentice / trainee) and be qualified to a minimum NVQ 3 in a Maintenance discipline
