Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an RME Technician to maintain a wide range of equipment and workspaces while upholding Health and Safety standards. You will help keep colleagues safe and prevent downtime, contributing to overall equipment availability and site performance.

The role involves on-site work with proactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and involvement in continuous improvement across EU sites. Flexible scheduling including weekends and nights is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ/IVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
• 4 years UK certified apprenticeship.
• Willingness to work weekends, nights and holidays.
• Relevant experience as a qualified engineer.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across EU sites.
