Job summary

The MBDA Maintenance Engineer role focuses on advanced fault finding and reliability improvements for process and ESS equipment on site in the UK. You will apply structured methods (FMEA, RCA) and use data analysis to identify root causes and deliver long-term solutions.

You will drive condition monitoring, support predictive maintenance, and collaborate with production and engineering to ensure maintainability is considered in procurement and in maintenance procedures and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC qualification in the relevant field.
• Proven experience with preventative maintenance strategies.
• Knowledge of KPIs for maintenance applications (MTTR, MTBF, availability).
• Experience with investigation techniques and root cause analysis.
• SAP experience required for maintenance planning and workload scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead fault finding and diagnostics on complex process and ESS equipment.
• Apply FMEA and RCA to identify failure trends and implement long-term actions.
• Drive continuous improvement activities to reduce downtime and improve OEE.
• Support condition monitoring strategies and predictive maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with production and engineering on procurement-stage maintainability.
• Support development of maintenance procedures, risk assessments and documentation.
• Ensure health and safety during all maintenance activities.
