MBDA in Stevenage is seeking a maintenance-focused engineer to lead fault finding on complex machinery and apply FMEA and RCA to identify root causes. You will drive continuous improvement using condition monitoring to minimise downtime and boost equipment reliability across manufacturing operations.
The role requires a minimum HNC in a relevant field, plus proven experience with preventive maintenance, KPIs, and SAP for maintenance planning and workload scheduling.
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
The role focuses on advanced fault finding, applying structured problem solving techniques such as FMEA and RCA to identify root causes of failures and implement long term solutions. Through the use of condition monitoring, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies, the role aims to minimise downtime, enhance equipment performance, and support efficient manufacturing operations.
