A leading recruitment agency in the UK is looking for a Reliability Lead to drive improvement programs in a prominent food manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will focus on reliability enhancement, root cause analysis, and collaborate with various departments. Essential qualifications include a mechanical or electrical HNC and experience in the food industry. A clean UK driving license and the ability to pass a DBS check are required.

Salary: Negotiable + Car Allowance
Working Hours/Shift Pattern: 07:30am to 4:30pm - Monday - Friday, Total Working 40 hours
Main duties & responsibilities:
As a Reliability Lead for you will be dedicated to one of our clients who's well established in the industry of frozen foods and are well known as the number one household brand for over 60 years. You will be tasked to drive reliability improvement programs across plant. They use accurate data analysis (from Power Bi and SAP) to work closely with their plant teams to ensure they reduce any food safety or maintenance related incidents - as they say, prevention is better than the cure!
To succeed you will need the desire to get to know the inner workings and immerse yourself within the environment to utilize in performance of the role. The complexity levels of the problems on site can also vary highly, due to the larger size and capacity on site. You will report directly to the Condition Monitoring Technician and Lubrication Technicians. You'll drive onsite maintenance improvement to reduce engineering related downtime, increase the reliability of our clients assets and ensure optimal maintenance lifecycle cost. You will also conduct root cause analysis, delivering recommendations and solutions for our client to implement. You will have a small team of technicians reporting directly to you. The technicians are responsible for the collection of vibration data, lubrication routes and ad-hock engineering services
Essential skills / experience / qualifications:
To be considered for this role you must:
Have UK employment experience working in this type of position
Have no restrictions or be on a visa which is due to expire before 2031
Have a clean UK driving licence
Be able to pass a DBS check
