Arden White Aerospace & Aviation Recruitment Specialists are proud to be partnering with an international aerospace company to find a Reliability Engineering Manager. This exciting role will lead a team of three engineers, supporting the aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of commercial aircraft. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reliability engineering within the aerospace sector, with the ability to manage and mentor a team, while driving the continuous improvement of aircraft performance.

As the Reliability Engineering Manager, you will lead efforts in performing detailed analysis to identify system anomalies, equipment discrepancies, and performance reliability issues. You will drive data analysis to evaluate reported discrepancies, determine root causes, and develop solutions and recommendations for key stakeholders, including leadership, suppliers, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of reliability engineers, providing guidance and support.
  • Analyse system anomalies, equipment discrepancies, and reliability issues.
  • Lead root cause analysis and develop solutions to improve component reliability.
  • Develop retrofit plans, monitor fleet performance, and create test plans.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers, operators, and suppliers on cost-saving solutions.
  • Report on key reliability KPIs and provide presentations to senior stakeholders.
  • Liaise with airlines, supply chain partners, and internal teams.
Essential Requirements:
  • Strong background in reliability engineering in the aerospace/aviation sector.
  • Experience leading a team and working with technical documentation (e.g., CMM).
  • Proficient in FRACAS, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
