We are seeking a collaborative and team-oriented Reliability Engineer with expertise in electrical and mechanical disciplines to join our manufacturing team at the Laverton Agchem head office. As a Reliability Engineer, your primary focus will be ensuring the reliability of all instrument and plant assets across our MHF site, with an emphasis on improving asset reliability to prevent adverse effects on plant and business operations.

You will support our trades team with technical assistance during daily activities and have opportunities to influence, inspire, and motivate employees and contractors, while also growing your career with us.

How You’ll Help Us Grow

• Coordinate with process engineers and production planners to analyze downtime caused by equipment reliability issues.
• Lead root cause analysis sessions with on-site engineers, supervisors, OEMs, and SMEs.
• Document findings, assumptions, assessment reports, and action plans in detail.
• Develop and implement short-term and long-term actions to address root causes of downtime.
• Raise work orders in CMMS and purchase orders for parts and services.
• Collaborate with maintenance planners to facilitate reliability improvements.
• Initiate CAPEX requests for long-term reliability projects and manage change requests (MOCs).
• Review completed works to ensure compliance with assessment recommendations.
• Monitor equipment performance to verify effectiveness of improvement initiatives.

Could This Be You?

You hold a tertiary qualification in Engineering and possess extensive experience in manufacturing equipment reliability, including expertise in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).

You are data-driven with a scientific approach to problem-solving, and you work well independently and within a team environment, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.
