We’re looking for a talented Release Manager to lead the technical delivery of our products and ensure a seamless flow of software releases throughout the development lifecycle, from development to production and early life support.

At AXA, we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team, and our customers. You’ll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means attending our office locations, visiting clients, or industry events. We also consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coordinate and implement release plans to ensure smooth and scheduled delivery through agile techniques, managing a team of specialists
  • Liaise with Delivery and Engineering teams to define and manage release scope, ensuring benefits and value are delivered
  • Manage release reporting, providing visibility of risks, KPIs, and RAG status updates to stakeholders
  • Ensure release quality and compliance with security and governance controls, with necessary evidence
  • Provide early life support after releases, manage unforeseen issues, and support service stabilization and warranty exit
  • Define, document, and communicate the release process to stakeholders
  • Continuously improve processes by leveraging latest technologies, methodologies, and market trends
  • Offer expertise in release engineering, including tools knowledge and environment management using Microsoft Azure DevOps

Due to high application volume, we reserve the right to close the advert early. If interested, please apply promptly.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in project/release management within large projects or programs using Agile methodologies
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Flexible attitude, including working unsociable hours when needed
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently or in a team
  • Decisiveness

Applicants must be eligible and authorized to work in the UK.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Annual bonus based on performance
  • Contributory pension scheme (up to 12%)
  • Life Assurance (up to 10x salary)

  • Wellbeing services and resources
  • Employee discounts
