Job description

  • Location: Bristol/Hybrid

An exciting opportunity to join our client and take a lead role in driving their Digital Release & Environment strategy.

Specific Requirements:

You will demonstrate the required skills and manage resources (both internal and external) needed to deliver the Release and Environments Service across a range of platforms, all seamlessly integrated within one another, hosted in a mix of Salesforce, Azure, AWS, on-premise and more.

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and obtain approval for the release strategy for the end-state Programme.
  2. Ensure release strategy and processes are aligned across all workstreams where possible.
  3. Implement necessary process changes to transition to the end-state release strategy in support of the delivery roadmap.
  4. Demonstrable expertise in effective release management for multi-tier technology estates.
  5. Minimum of 3 years of prior release management experience.
  6. As an experienced DevOps and CI/CD practitioner, with a proven track record in creating release strategies and seeing them through to business as usual through the use of automation tooling, CI/CD pipelines and data refresh processes.
  7. Proficiency in source control, code management, branching, and build pipelines.
  8. Track record in creating, managing, and publishing release roadmaps.
  9. Experience in implementing automated release management capabilities.
  10. Previous involvement in managing multiple test environments and related release schedules.
