The Role

Kuwait Finance House PLC is seeking a Relationship Support Officer to join its Private Banking team. Reporting to the Head of Private Banking Account Management, this role supports UK and international Relationship Managers in delivering a high-quality, responsive service to Private Banking clients. The Relationship Support Officer will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining compliance, and enhancing client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support to Relationship Managers and their clients, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Assist with client transactions including fixed deposits, payments, internal mortgage transfers, and offshore company/property fees.
  • Support account opening processes and ensure accurate documentation and compliance with internal procedures.
  • Maintain vigilance around compliance, KYC, and AML requirements, escalating concerns as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, especially Operations, to ensure client requests are fulfilled in line with policies.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues, demonstrating cultural empathy and professionalism.
  • Proactively resolve service issues and refer complex matters to appropriate teams or specialists.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of desk procedures and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Key Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Good standard of education.
  • At least 3 years of banking experience, ideally in a relationship management or operational support role.
  • Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
  • Cultural awareness and the ability to build rapport with a diverse client base.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with Middle Eastern clients.
  • Spoken Arabic.
  • RDR Qualification.
