Job description

We have an opportunity for a Relationship Manager – DA to join our Underwriting Management department at Tokio Marine Kiln. Reporting to the Head of Underwriting Management, you will serve as a liaison between Underwriters, the DA team, Customer Oversight, Coverholders, and Brokers, working to reduce silos across departments.

This role includes responsibilities such as:

  • Coordinating approval of new Coverholders, including DCA’s, working with Underwriters, Brokers, Coverholders, and TMK departments.
  • Collaborating with strategic coverholder partners to refine processes for renewals and binding authorities.
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with brokers, coverholders, and internal TMK departments.
  • Staying informed of market practices and liaising with Lloyd’s and working parties on new developments.
  • Supporting the DA team to ensure TMK coverholder standards are met across the syndicate.
  • Assisting the Head of DA in implementing the Delegated Authority Strategy.
  • Refining processes within the DA team.
  • Coordinating relationship management with key Coverholders, with support from the DA team and underwriters.
  • Understanding the company's risk appetites regarding delegated authority, conduct, and financial crime.
  • Representing TMK at market forums as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and administrative skills, with solid knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. We seek an excellent communicator with expert knowledge of the Lloyd’s market, binding authorities, and Coverholder issues.
