Job description

We have the opportunity for a Relationship Manager – DA to join our Underwriting Management department here at Tokio Marine Kiln. Reporting into the Head of Underwriting Management, you will act as a liaison person between Underwriters, the DA team, Customer Oversight, Coverholders and Brokers, working through and reducing silos working across departments.

This role includes responsibility for:

• Coordinating approval of new Coverholders including DCA’s working with Underwriters, Brokers, Coverholders and supporting TMK departments
• Working with strategic coverholder partners to help refine processes designed to improve efficiency of renewals and new binding authorities.
• Helping to maintain excellent relations with brokers / coverholders and across internal TMK departments noted above.
• Keeping abreast of market practices and liaise with Lloyd’s and working parties for any new developments.
• Supporting the DA team to ensure TMK coverholder standards are met across the syndicate.
• Assisting the Head of DA with implementing Delegated Authority Strategy.
• Working with the DA team to refine processes.
• With support of the DA team and underwriters to coordinate relationship management with key Coverholders
• To have a clear understanding of the company's risk appetites in terms of delegated authority, conduct and financial crime.
• Representing TMK as appropriate on market forums.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have excellent organisational and administrative skills, with solid working a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. We are looking for an excellent communicator who has expert knowledge of the Lloyd’s market, binding authorities and Coverholder issues.
