We seek dynamic, engaging, and experienced Relationship Managers to support our growth.

Job Description

Charles River is committed to delivering market-leading, feature-rich technology combined with exceptional client service. As a Relationship Manager, you will own CRD’s client accounts, focusing on retention and growth. You will collaborate with client leadership to ensure strategic alignment and foster long-term partnerships. Working closely with your peers in the Client Management team, you will ensure effective engagement across your accounts.

You must demonstrate your ability to manage relationships through strategic thinking and partnership. You will influence both internal and client business leaders and decision-makers. Your organizational and interpersonal skills will help Charles River deliver excellent client service while advancing organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a book of accounts with support from Relationship Management leaders.
  • Establish senior relationships with C-Level and business heads, understanding client strategies and CRD’s role.
  • Set long-term, strategic objectives for each client and measure success against account plans.
  • Ensure effective issue resolution, project delivery, and collaboration with internal teams.
  • Maintain a high-touch engagement model with clients, including onsite visits, status calls, and executive meetings.
  • Assist the Sales team in identifying and fostering revenue opportunities, including additional modules, services, and training.
  • Stay informed about market and industry trends relevant to CRD and clients.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the Charles River IMS, including updates and new offerings.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Finance, Technology, or relevant field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in Financial Services/Software, particularly in Relationship/Client Management roles.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate issues and solutions clearly.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with senior managers and decision-makers.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, able to operate independently and in teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel 20-40% of the time.
