Join Close Brothers Asset Finance as an Area Sales Manager

Your role will be to generate new business to meet sales targets as part of the Close Brothers Transport team. You will demonstrate the ability to exceed sales targets and build relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.

  1. Proactively source sales within your geographical area by prospecting existing customers, sourcing new clients, or through dealer introducers.
  2. Be self-motivated and driven to achieve and surpass targets through financing and related products.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with existing customers via telephone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
  4. Act as a liaison between the company and its markets, negotiating terms and closing sales while gathering market and customer information.
  5. Provide accurate and quick quotations, delivering relevant information to close deals.
  6. Design and implement a strategic business plan to expand the customer base and strengthen the company's presence.
  7. Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs.
  8. Identify emerging markets and shifts, staying informed about new products and competitors.

Experience required:

  • Experience in the Asset Finance or Financial industry.
  • Experience in a customer-facing sales environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.

  • Knowledge of Transport, especially asset expertise.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
