Job Description

Purpose of the role

To establish and nurture profitable partnerships with corporate clients. The role acts as a bridge between the bank's offerings and clients' needs, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term success.

Accountabilities

  • Manage client relationships to identify financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance; support data analysis from various sources, including investment portfolios and cash flows, to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Research and understand industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Design customized solutions addressing clients' specific needs, incorporating products and services from the bank's portfolio.
  • Communicate value propositions, justify recommendations, and negotiate mutually beneficial terms.
  • Guide clients in financial decisions, risk management, and wealth strategies; provide updates on market trends to maintain positive relationships.
  • Assess financial, legal, and operational risks; implement measures to minimize potential losses.
  • Document all interactions, transactions, and agreements for transparency and audit purposes; communicate findings to support product development and bank strategy.
  • Monitor client satisfaction, revenue, and other metrics to evaluate relationship management effectiveness.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, market trends, and customer needs for business growth strategies.

Essential Skills/Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of corporate banking products, including cash management, card payments, trade & working capital, and FX solutions.
  • Risk accreditation Level 1 or 2 or demonstrable financial understanding with a plan to undertake Level 2 within 12 months.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Established account management and business development skills.
  • Debt finance appraisal skills relevant to corporate banking.
  • Experience in organizing client events and entertainment.
