Relationship Director - Commodities Coverage

Purpose of the role

To establish and nurture profitable partnerships with both corporate and individual clients. It's the bridge between the bank's offerings and clients' needs, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term success.

Accountabilities

  • Management of client relationships to identify financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance, supporting data analysis from various sources, including investment portfolios and cash flows, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Research and understanding of the client's industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Design of customized solutions addressing the client's specific needs, incorporating a range of bank products and services.
  • Provision of guidance to clients to support their financial decisions, offering expert investment advice, risk management, wealth strategies, and market updates.
  • Assessment of financial, legal, and operational risks, with measures to minimize potential losses.
  • Documentation of all client interactions, transactions, and agreements for transparency and audit purposes, and communicating findings to support product development and bank strategy.
  • Monitoring client satisfaction, revenue, and other metrics to evaluate relationship management effectiveness.

  • Contribute to strategy, drive requirements, and recommend changes. Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage processes; deliver improvements; escalate policy breaches.
