Job summary

Pro Global is seeking a Technical Analyst to work with a client within our Insurance Services team, specialising in processing of reinsurance accounts. This permanent role is hybrid, with 3 days a week in our Gloucester or Liverpool offices.

You will apply strong insurance and reinsurance knowledge to process accounts, meet month-end deadlines, and deliver service to clients while escalating issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical processing of reinsurance accounts.
• Strong knowledge of insurance and reinsurance.
• Excellent knowledge of London Market systems and procedures.
• Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
• Good client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Process Reinsurance accounts.

Pro currently has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Analyst to work with a specific Client within our Insurance Services team, specialising in the processing of reinsurance accounts. This role is a permanent position, working on a hybrid contract with 3 days a week in our Gloucester or Liverpool offices.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for the technical processing of Reinsurance accounts and will have a blend of skills as an insurance and reinsurance analyst and experience in Reinsurance processing.

• Processing Reinsurance accounts
• Processing tasks accurately in an efficient manner by month end deadlines
• Investigating any discrepancies between calculated Premiums and instructions received from the client
• Service delivery to specified client
• Identify and escalation any issues impacting service performance
• Resolve issues internally and support resolutions externally

Skills and Experience

• Ability to work on own initiative
• Strong technical (re)insurance knowledge and skills
• Excellent working knowledge of London Market systems and procedures
• Ability to prioritise own workload to meet deadlines
• Understanding of principles of insurance and reinsurance is essential
• Maintain a conscientious, positive and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good working relationships with Clients and colleagues
